To celebrate the end of a successful (and very busy) year, we took our talents to the neon jungle of Schwarzlicht Minigolf. Think: 3D glasses, glowing obstacles, and scientists attempting “angle of incidence = angle of reflection” in real life. Spoiler: most of us are better at targeting viral epitopes than tiny holes with a golf ball.
After the game (which may or may not have ended in creative rule interpretations), we rewarded ourselves with a mountain of pizza at a cozy restaurant. Good food, lots of laughs, and the comforting feeling of being absolutely terrible at golf – it was the perfect lab holiday celebration.
