We are proud to announce that our MD student Max Szameitat has been awarded the José Carreras Scholarship at this year’s Annual Meeting of the German Society of Hematology and Oncology (DGHO) in Cologne.
The prestigious José Carreras Scholarship recognizes outstanding young scientists in the field of hematology and oncology for their innovative research and scientific excellence. Max received the award for his promising work within our group on novel multispecific antibody approaches to improve immunotherapies against aggressive B-cell lymphomas.
This distinction highlights the importance of Max’s research in translating antibody engineering into new therapeutic strategies and underlines our lab’s continued commitment to advancing targeted immunotherapies at the interface of virology, oncology, and immunology.
Congratulations, Max, on this well-deserved recognition!
