We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our research efforts. Our team has successfully collected over 100 large blood draws from HIV-1 infected patients, marking a crucial step forward in our mission to understand the latent reservoir and HIV-1 antibody resistances in these individuals. This was only possible through a great team effort and a great collaboration between the outpatient clinic of the Department I for Internal Medicine, led by Prof. Clara Lehmann, the processing Lab, led by Prof. Florian Klein and the Laboratory of antiviral Immunity. We are extremely happy to work in such a great and inspiring environment!
Moreover, we extend our gratitude to the patients who participated in this study! Our research would be impossible if patients would not be willing to participate in such studies. Thus, we are more than thankful that already over 100 patients were willing to participate and we are looking forward to invite the next 100 patients to participate in our study.
